250g New Forest Local Honey with Lemon
Late this summer we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to source Lemons freshly harvested directly from the groves located in the Costa Blanca Spain.
These unwaxed totally natural and fresh lemons reminded us of the honey created by our Bees which is also totally natural and untouched.
We simply removed the oily outer rind of the fresh lemons and submerged the skins into our honey. We remained patient and were then rewarded with a truely unique lemon flavoured honey.
This citrus tasting honey is simply gorgeous drizzled on porridge or yogurt but equally delicious added to warm water to make a refreshing sweet drink. It is fantastic stirred into ginger tea.
It also makes an amazing 'hot toddy' when you combine a spoonful of lemon honey with a shot of whisky or rum and a little hot water. Wonderful for cold, wintery evenings.
This Lemon honey is only packaged in the 250g sized jar.
It's a little more expensive but a real treat.
